You don't use a textbox to display a picture/image. To display a picture/image, you use a picturebox. You can also use an image list to disolay a number of images, sort of like a list box control. It would be fairly easy to then populate a textbox with the name of the file, as you would need the name to fill the other control(s).
Do a google search for picturebox and/or imagelist to get sample code on how to use either control.
