Dropped sessions with OpenVPN and WinXP

I am running OpenVPN under WinXP SP3 to connect to my server network. The OpenVPN server is running under OpenBSD. When I connect to my Win 2003 servers with Remote Desktop, my session drops after a few (2-5) minutes. I am able to PING the server while this happens so the physical connection is up. This problem also occurs when I SSH to my FreeBSD servers but does not occur with OpenBSD. I also have a laptop running Win Vista and have no problems with it.

There are no messages in the event log in WinXP, the OpenVPN client log, or the OpenVPN server message log. I have removed QuickTime and Bonjour with no change.
