I have a Canon GL2 camcorder that I firewire into my Win 98 2nd edition PC. PC is new and plenty fast (512mb, 40 gig) When recording, I keep getting frames dropped. Video plays back looking like its occasionally strobing. Audio also cuts out at this point. It looks like all settings are proper on Adobe. Am I importing it wrong? I use "movie capture". Any suggestions?

do you have any other software running?? I know alot of the instant messaging programs mess things up for me...
