Kind of a newbie, but I'm getting the hang of these Norstar systems. This is my first post - thanks in advance for helping out.
Just recently reconfigured our Norstar/Startalk system so all calls are picked up by AA right away (zero rings), with an option to hit zero to get to the operator. All of a sudden, our operator is getting MANY calls which are completely dead. Seems like every time someone hangs up for whatever reason, the line just hangs for a while and then eventually the operator's phone rings with no one on the line.
1) Why the large number of dropped calls? I don't know why so many people would be calling and then hanging up.
2) Any way to stop the AA from calling the operator with these dead calls?
Couldn't find anything in past threads....hopefully, I didn't miss something.
Thanks!
