Dropdown Menus always on top 2

I found a flash site that has the dropdown menu's appearing on top of the previously selected menu. Cool!!! How is this done? I know I can't recreate this jumping from frame to frame, right? Or maybe there is a "bring to front" action somewhere.

Each dropdown menu is most probably a movie clip, and I guess swapDepths is used so that the current selection appears on top of the previous one.
