hi all,

i don't really know the terms in english but i'll have a try.
I have a table containing data, f.i. :

type value

HEA100 100
HEA200 200

I want to use a dropdown cell (don't know if this is the correct term) to choose from either HEA200 or HEA100 and then in another cell i want the get the value of the according cell in the value column.
How can i do this ?

housenm,

I have put together a workbook that implements a combobox control on a worksheet. It gets its contents from a second, hidden worksheet and has code associated with its change event handler to populate a cell with the selected value. Post your email address and I'll send this to you.

Regards,
M. Smith

OK, i solved my own problem.
Just use the controls on the toolbar for making forms.
You select a control, put it on the worksheet and right click properties.
Together with the index function it works great
Although i'd like to see your code, my email is housenm@hotmail.com.

Thanks in advance and for the reply
