Dropdown lists in a parameter query

In a <b>parameter query</b> I want the user to choose the filter criteria only from a list of values that I specify.&nbsp;&nbsp;Can I do this in the criteria field? <br><br>I'm new to access so if you could point me in the right direction or to the best book or previous tip it would be appreciated.
