dropdown created with DRW in form ???

I created a form. Then using the database results wizard I created dropdowns populated with data from a view from a database. The search form and dropdows work great. HOWEVER, how do I set the dropdown so users are not required to select from the list. The way it is now you must select one of the choices in the dropdown. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.
