i am working with indesign cs me version and i am trying to create a paragraph with a space on the second line like this.

This is the first line of text
and the second line with the space

how do you do that in indesign?
 
Look at the paragraph style options and/or use the tab palette.

Scrap that, I couldn't work out how to insert a screen grab.

In you Paragraph Pallet,
change the right indent to, say, 5mm
then change the one under it (first line) to -5mm
then presto...

Oh, and if you know how to insert a screen grab, please let me know.

You need a separate server to post the image.

Then see the 'Process TGML' link below the posting box to see the mark up. It is similar to HTML img references.
