Drop shadows

Hi! I see in InDesign that you can add a drop shadow that is soft-edged... can you do this in Quark? I'm using Quark 6 on a Mac. Thanks!

You can do it if you bought 6.5 recently with the bundled ShadowCaster XT. Otherwise, go to ALAP.com and buy the XT.

You can also wait to upgrade to Quark 7, which will have this feature.

I do have Quark 6.5. Sorry... I guess I said I had 6. Anyway, I didn't know about Shadowcaster. I'll check it out! Thanks.

If you do not see the XT, you may have purchased 6.5 outside of the ShadowCaster promotion window.

I guess I bought it outside of the promotion window. :-( That sucks! Oh well. I'll upgrade to 7 soon anyway. Thanks.
