Running trixbox/freepbx....

Ok, so i setup a couple of phones (grandstreams) to add a 9 to any number dialed on line 1 and an 8 to any number dialed on line 2 so that they go out different trunks.

Now of course, if someone tries to dial a 3 digit internal number its adding a 9 to the number and its getting a "Number not in service"

Is there a way in the dial pattern to strip the first digit off if a 3 digit number is dialed?

Any help is appreciated.

Paul

Do not know a way to do that, but you can allow calls to be made without the 8 or 9. You would have to use the routing to select the trunk group by the dialing pattern.
