drop down window

Can anyone help me make a button on rollover make a drop down menu pop up? Also the mouse rollover doesn't work, the only action I can make work with the mouse is press. I actually want to rollover, have it pop up and pop down when mouse is released.
Any help would be appreciated...thanks

You won't be able to do this while editing the button's states. Your dropdown menu should be a movie clip, of which one instance is dragged on stage and controlled by the button using the deprecated tellTarget action.
Or you may have a look at Advanced Buttons under Help->Samples, the combo box may be what you're looking for!
