Drop down menu help

Hi,

I've created a dropdown flash menu that is within a html web page. The menu movie is small and i am trying to get the dropdown menu to venture out of the movies confines and be displayed over the HTML page but it stays within the movie edges and just disapears from view. Is there a way to overcome this?

Movie's wmode has to be set to transparent in the object & embed tags...

...And the movie needs to be embedded in a higher z-index division.
