Drop-Down List/ Text Field

I need to know how to do those drop-down boxes where you can also type an entry into the box if it isn't in the list - can those be done in a web page?

Basically, no. What you would have to do is create a <select> element and an <input type=&quot;text&quot;> box and use positioning to create an effect that there is only one box in question.
