Drop Down Calendars

I know there have been many questions about creating drop down calendars and it seems that everyone suggests an activeX component (for Access) or a 3rd party component (for web). Does anyone know of a script that creates the calendars though? I tried the third party approach and it was to much of a hassle because everyone had to install the component and then everytime they loaded the webpage they had to click through 2 message boxes. Now I know that 2 message boxes aren't very many however the ease of use when it comes to a web based tool is eliminated when you start having these extra boxes pop up. Besides they are damn annoying after one or 2 times. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated even if it is to slap the people around and tell them to deal with the message windows.
