Drop Down Box - Dynamic Page

I have a drop down box and when the user selects a choice from the box, I want other elements to appear on the form/page based on what the user chose (for one choice, two textboxes might appear, and for another 3 checkboxes might appear). What would be the best way to go about this? (javascript, vbscript, asp, etc)
