This is driving me crazy. After having an explorer window open and dragging and drop files into AutoCAD 2000, the Open File Dialogue box does not appear anymore and goes to a commnd text linen waiting for an input of the file to be open. It lists the last file that was dropped into it. I think that this may be a WinXP / Win2k problem but I haven't found any help anywhere for this.

Any comments or insights (short of reinstall AutoCAD), would be appreciated.

Too add to this, the 'Recover' option from the same pull down menu produces the same result but defaults no file name.

Paul:

Thanks, I actually found it through AutoCAD's built-in help files.
