Are you trying to open the backend database to make changes while others are using the database?

To make database changes, you need to use an administrative account (default is "Admin" unless you have created and implemented security), and have exclusive access to the database being changed.

Having end users "drop" three tables so you can make changes will not work.

Wonder why us IT guys work "after hours" ?

Hint:
You can also open up the *.MDL table to see which users are currently connected.
