a customer wants to use prepaid cards on his mitel installation; do any of you guys see a way on how i can let a call drop when his amount on the card is empty ??

Thx, i'm a bit new in the mitel world

how would the mitel know when there card run out of money?
any way the carrier would dump your call once your limit had been reached.

Depending on the card, the carrier will generally (1) warn you with a tone and then (2) drop the call when you hit the wall. Some carriers (i.e., OneSuite) will even advise you at the start of each call as to how many minutes you have left.

Nice card OneSuite < no fees, no taxes, no minimums, no nothing. Minutes don't expire for 6 months and all for only 2½¢ per minute (billed in full minute increments). You can manage the account online, immediately see your account status almost in real time and add minutes whenever you need.

I love OneSuite, but you can't use it for more than one concurrent call from the same ANI... i have to have one party call me to do a 3way...

OneSuite is a VOIP carrier, dunno who their parent co is, someone in the Newsgroups once said it was Adelphia, but Adelphia has been circling the drain lately and OneSuite is still in biz. Not sure what to make of that.
