I use an MS Access program to send transactions to Peachtree Complete Accounting using Peachtree's DDD capability. (Apparently Peachtree does not support OLE in any form).

The interface works well, after some agony, for some functions. Other functions are not supported as far as I can tell. For example, I have found no way to change the open company from Access, and Peachtree will not accept transactions if the company is not open. So to post from Access, the Access program must stop and message the user to make sure the correct company is open in Peachtree (and open for the right period), then do a Return to resume the Access program.

I would be interested in conversing about Access to Peachtree communication in general.

Tom Budlong
budlong@who.net

Tom Budlong
budlong@who.net

Check with"ChargeGuard" about there "Shopware" product. They are doing a pretty good job interfacing with Peachtree. [sig][/sig]
