I have a HP Workstation 8000 Dual XEON with 1 ATA Drive installed. I have enabled the onboard SCSI and connected the Drives. When you boot the controler BIOS show the drives connected. Windows doesn't register the drives (they were in a mac before now) and I think it is because of the drive format. What do I need to do to make the drives show up under windows?? (I tried FDISK but it didn't see the drives.)

Will

Note: the four drives are in an enclosuere made by a 4 letter company that sound like JEM. Only one connector is connected to the PC, as the drives are internally looped.

Download a copy of Knoppix... ;)

Is the drive mounted on your desktop ??
then
Menu -> settings -> Qtparted... format etc etc
