drives are not displayed in my computer

Hard drives 'c' and cd drive 'd' do not show up in my computer or Windows Explorer. 'a' does but not the others. System had viruses. Viruses are now removed. Performed a Windows XP Home repair. Drives still do not show up. How can I get these drive to appear again.

found the answer and repaired the problem by using tweakui. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
