Drivers for Xcel 2000 motherboard.

Hi.

One friend of mine has a PC based on a Xcel 2000 motherboard (don't know the exact model) Pentium II 400 MHz all included in the motherboard (modem, LAN card, Sound, Video).

He recently made a clean install of Win 98 and he forgot to backup his drivers. He's managed to install almost every driver except for the modem's driver. The problem is that neither windows recognizes the modem nor looking into the motherboard itself "reveals the identity of the modem".

Do you know a web site where I can download the complete package of drivers for this motherboard?.

I would start with PCChips, they make most of the "all-in-one" motherboards on the market.

On the computors start up screen, the one that does the ram check. There should be a referance the the bios part no.

write this down and then do a search (I like webferret for this) using this number in the search box.

You should get several results. from these you will be able to determine the exact manufacturer of the mobo and ther fore will know where to go for the drivers you need.
