To experience more of the mixed-platform environments, I want to share an IBM 7133-020 SSA-disk-array (which has nothing to do with SUN's SSA-disk-arrays, but with IBM's Serial Storage Architecture), between my RS/6000 7013-J30 and a SparcStation 20. I have all the hardware required, including the PathLight SSA-to-SBus adapter, but not the drivers for that one.
PathLight has been taken over by the storage-company ADIC, which gave a lightning-fast reply that they do not provide any drivers, and hours and hours of Googling came up with nothing, nor did driverguide.com and driversearch.com result in anything.
The adapter also has been sold by IBM as the "SSA Interface Controller for Sun SBus", but that didn't help me any further, except that there is a redbook about using SSA in non-IBM-environments which provided the information about the required package.
Does anyone happen to have those drivers (package PTLsunl, the file may be called SSASBUS.PKG) lying around somewhere ? I know that they exist for 2.4 and 2.5, and possibly 2.6.
Does that wire go into there ? Or does it go into there ? Oops, wrong guess !
