I saw the old thread on this subject, but no recent posts. I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop running Win XP. Get the BSOD with the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error message about once a week. Tech info included on the blue screen is:

STOP: 0X000000D1 (0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xB9EE4B98
w22n52.sys - Address B9EE4B98 base at B9E71000, DateStamp 40054b01

Recent changes to sytem include installing MS Office Home & Student 2007, MS Outlook 2007 and upgrading memory from 512kb to 2MB. Before I start uninstalling, I was hoping someone my interperet the Tech Info to help me narrow down where the problem may be. This is an intermittant problem and only occurs about once a week.

Thanks for any advice.

w22n52.sys looks like an issue with the Intel wireless card drivers on the laptop.
Find out what wireless card is installed on the laptop and try updating its drivers.

If there is no updated driver, and you are sure you have the correct driver for your hardware then you might be able to "rollback" to a previous driver, if there ever was one.

Turn your wireless radio OFF so you don't get blue-screened and can't do the update. Or update in safe mode if you need to (download updates first).

Thanks....there was an updated driver available and I was able to install with no difficulty. Wireless is working ok, hopefully the blue screen issue will not occur again.
