Driver problem Win 2K pro 1

I have to keep re-install the driver for my SanDisk smartmedia card reader. Nearly everytime I start the computer. Would anyone know what would cause this and how to correct this annoying problem.

you might try this. go to start/programs/administrative tools/services.scroll down to smart card and smart card helper. double click and in the startup type change to automatic.hope this helps.let me know if it does.
