i have a windows 2000 sp4 server, the C-drive is set at 12GB
it became close to full, so i entered safe mode, created a new simple partition on the disk array, copped over everything from the programs files, deleted the programs files folder from the C-drive, created a blank folder and called it program files, mounted the simple partition to that folder, rebooted and the system boots fine, but the C-drive still reads as almost full even though i just moved 6-7GB to a new mounted drive....
i would like to have the the disk report correctly now, but not sure how to accomplish this
when i select everything on the C-drive and view the properties is says 7.28GB=Size 5.06GB=Size on Disk, and the capacity is 12GB. but when i look in computer management is says i only have 800mb free?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention
of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,
totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
--"WOW-- What a Ride!"
