I am trying to configure my server to Host Active Directory. However, AD needs to live on an NTSF file partition. Unfortunately, I did not partition an NTSF file at installation. I am using VolumeManager to create a partition. Should I create a primary partition or logical partition? Does it matter which one I create? Also, what is the minimum partition size I need to host active directory? Any help with this subject would be greatly appreciated.

You can just convert an existing partition to NTFS. I would utilize the partition which contains Win2K server.
