When setting up Access with a frontend and a backend to be used on a shared directory - If people are mapped to the directory on different drives ie user 1 is mapped to the R: user 2 maps to the U: drive to the same shared directory - Is their anyway to enable them to point to the backend tables without having to do to versions of the frontend.

when you link the tables, link them as networked tables

Example:

In the linked table manager

tblMyTable (\\NetworkComputer\Path)

When you go in to link the tables, select My Network Neighborhood, and search for the server that the tables reside on. By linking that way it will not matter if the user is mapped to a specific drive or not because it is going to the server directly.
