We allow remote access to our users via VPN. Windows 2000 machines and NT4 machines connect and run batch files to connect to needed drive mappings. The Windows 98 machine users, our batch files are not working for them
Heres what our batch files look like:
net use v: "\\Server1.Gory.com\userdisk\hapoper"
/user:hap_orpt\username

What do I need to do to get this batch file to work so the windows 98 users can connect to resources on our NT4 domain ?

Thanks

What happens when the WIN98 users try to execute the batch file?

It was coming up with an error not recognizing the user name and password. Upon further searches I found out that Windows98 does not recognize the last switch in my batch file. For s fix I turned on "Log on to NT Domain" under network properties. User can do the NT login before actually connected to domain, activate VPN connection (it appears that once you activate the VPN, the domain credentials you entered earlier are still good and you can use short network mappings (\\servername\ share).

This works fine
