Drive Initialization Time

I have an HP RS/12 currently with 5 18.0G drives setup as a RAID5 configuration. I am in the process of redoing the configuration and need to know the amount of time it is going to take to initialize ( 5 ) 36G Drives. I know there are two methods, one being a fast initialization and one being a slower, low level format. If anyone has any information on the amount of time it takes, I would greatly appreciate it!
