Hi folks:

We have a server (hp proliant) with hardware raid 1 and 1 spare disk in case the other disk should fail. Should i also use, for example, Drive Image 2002 or norton Ghost, besides hardware raid 1 and making a image of system partition on cd etc.. for restore in case of an hardware failure ? Anyhow, is this possible because giving an harware raid 1, maybe Drive image 2002 does not see the correct drive configuration (it has been changed by the raid bios - there is only one logical drive)

please help

thanx

Yes its a good idea, you will have to produce a new image at least every 3 months though (due to toombstoning). Having h/ware raid won't make any difference.
