Drilling Down when Groups are Suppressed

I have a report with five group levels. Some of these groups are conditionally suppressed depending on the data that makes them up. The data is made up of individual accounts, and I want to be able to drill down all the way to the details section. Unfortunately, I can drill down to GH4, but if GH5 is suppressed, I can not drill down to the details section. Is there anyway around this or am I out of luck?

Hide groups 2 and 3 (instead of suppressing), but for Group #4, go into the section expert->suppress->x+2 and enter:

drilldowngrouplevel >= 0

For the details section->suppress->x+2 and enter:

drilldowngrouplevel < 3

Hmm, sorry I may not have been specific enough. My report is basically a summary where it breaks into greater (additional group level) depending on the type. For instance if a loan is fixed the "lowest level" is Group 5 (Grouph 6 is suppressed). If it is adjustable Group 6 is shown. If I want to get to the details section, it works if I drill down on on group 6, but if I drill down on group 5 and group 6 is suppressed (as it is with a fixed loan), I can not drill down any further into the details section.

Same principle--hide the earlier groups through Group #5 (instead of suppressing), but for Group #6, go into the section expert->suppress->x+2 and enter:

(
{table.group#5} = "fixed" and
drilldowngrouplevel >= 0
) or
(
{table.group#5} = "adjustable" and
drilldowngrouplevel < 5
)

For the details section->suppress->x+2 and enter:

drilldowngrouplevel < 6

I might be off by one on the 5 and 6, so please play with this a bit.

If I do this though the previous groups before GH5 will be hidden, and not shown. I want them to be shown. I have attached a screenshot. Essentially I want to be able to click on Fixed, and be able to drill down to the details section. Since GH5 and GH6 are suppressed when GH4 = "Fixed", I can not do this.

Well, don't hide the previous groups then and change the drilldowngrouplevel accordingly. I thought the whole report was drilldown.

However, now I'm wondering whether you really want a drilldown report at all or whether you just want the Group #5 and the details displayed conditionally, i.e., just for the Adustable group. A drilldown report would open separate windows.

So you don't really see anyway that I can do this as a drill down? I do want it as a drill down, because often there will be 1000's of particular accounts per category and I don't want a large report. I just want the user to be able to see the underlying details of each category, if need be. The user would only be getting details on the most detailed level. For istance, in the above screenshot they would click on , "Fixed" under Agriculture (because it is the lowest level fixed loans go), and would click "1M" under Prime.

Yes, you can do drilldown, as explained above.
