Drilldown on the Details

Using crystal XI R2

I have 5 detail sections and is there a way ,i can hide/drill down one of these sections.

When i try to do that it is taking the whole details area.

Is there any other way i can do this.

If you are saying you want one of the detail sections to appear ONLY upon drilldown on some group, then format that section to suppress (not hide) before drilldown with a formula:

drilldowngrouplevel = 0

Thanks for the quick reply LB.

The problem is i don't have a group.
I have more information than it fits in one section and we want some information to only show up if we want to.
That takes up lot of space.

You could conditionally suppress a detail section using a parameter. Or if you want it to show up in a separate window, add an on-demand subreport that can be clicked on by the user.
