Hi !
I have a problem. When I roll up on a certain dimension, I don't want
the sum of the measure at the lower level to dsplayed as value at the
upper level. I want the minimum of all values at the lower level to
be displayed at higher level, when I drill up.
So, if my hierarchy is L1->L2->L3

When I drill up at L3, I need to see the minimum of values at L3 to
be displayed at L2 and not the sum.

Since the default metric definitions stay the same regardless of whether you drill up or down, I suggest you do the following:

create report 1 : L3 with metric M1 defined as sum(xxx)
create template 2 : L2 with metric M2 defined as max(xxx) or min(xxx) as you like.

then in report 1, set up a custom drill path so that use can choose to "drill up" when in effect he/she is drilling to template 2. This customized drill path is extremely useful for user navigation. You will need the drill map editor to do this.

Hi!
Thanks. In the meanwhile, I had also tried another method. By doing manipulation in the 'dimensionality' of the two metrics i.e.
M1 (sum) and M2(min), the result can be achieved.
The default target value 'report' has to be made 'standard', and other
attributes(displayed at column and row) have to be added as targets with 'standard'.
This also works.
