Hi,
I have created a cube taking architect model as my data source. Also I have an .imr report with measure (Revenue) and dimensions(Region Name and Service Line) of same name in it. I tried to set up a drill through on this measure(Revenue) to the imr report. But on drilling the impromptu shows a message saying "Warning: Some of the filter information was dropped and may effect totals,calculation" . In fact it dropps both the dimension filters
Customer.Customer Name=Joe Larsen and
Service_Line.service_line=Accomodation
and then it shows the report without filtering anything. I want to know the criteria by which a cube drills through to an imr report.
What can I do to achieve a drill through from a cube to an imr where only "dimension and measure names" are same but not the underneath query.

Regards
Cogprog.

When you drill through from PowerPlay to Impromput, the column names being passed must match in the query exactly. If they don't you can usually change one or the other to match. When you get the message on the drill through, look at "Details" to see what is being passed. In the Impromput report you can look at the SQL option in the Query dialog box to compare the two lists.
Hope that helps,
Matt :)
