Hei

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook, after I upgraded from XP home to Proffesion I get the message DRI_KBFiltr is missing. I hope someone know what to do with this driver!
I've been told this driver isn't compatible with XP Pro, but I can't find a new version of it. Someone told me it was the keyboard, so I uninstalled the keyboard driver and installed XPs own keyborddriver, but this din't help. I tried to run msconfig to clear captr10 check box under startup tab, but I don't have this alternative.
Someone please help me!

I think it relates to the Easy Buttons software by Dritek or similar. See this thread for details.

I have an hp pavilion notebook that I recently upgraded
from xp home edition to xp professional. Since that time
I get this message "dri_kbfiltr could not be found"
everytime that I turn on my computer. In addition, the hp
one-touch keys on the keyboard no longer function. I went
to the hp website to get tech support and they sent me
the resolution listed below. I went to the website they
indicated but was unable to locate any drivers. Does
anyone know of a solution to this problem?

SYMPTOMS
After you start Windows XP Professional, you may receive
the following error message:

dri_kbfiltr could not be found
CAUSE
This issue may occur after you upgrade from Windows XP
Home Edition to Windows XP Professional.
RESOLUTION
Method 1: Look for Updated Drivers
You can look for updated drivers for DriTek Solutions'
Multimedia Hotkeys software if you visit the following
DriTek Solutions Web site:

Microsoft provides third-party contact information to
help you find technical support. This contact information
may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee
the accuracy of this third-party contact information.
Method 2: Remove Multimedia Hotkeys Software from Windows
Startup
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type MSCONFIG, and then click OK.
Click the Startup tab.
Click to clear the cpatr10 check box.
Click OK.

If you are prompted to do so, restart your computer.
MORE INFORMATION
The Dri_kbfiltr file is a driver that controls DriTek
Solutions' Multimedia HotKeys software. After you upgrade
from Windows XP Home Edition to Windows XP Professional,
this driver no longer works. However, the hotkey mappings
for Multimedia Hotkeys continue to work without this
driver being loaded.
