dreamweaver title

hope you can help,i am using dreamweaver 3.0 i have recently designed a basic web site which works well,the problem i have is when i give my site a title in page properties and save it when i run the site i get the message on the toolbar 'untitled document'what am i doing wrong
help most welcomed.

When you 'view' your code (code vs. design), what does it have in the <title> tag?
