Dreamweaver mx weird behavior

Hello,
I have dreamweaver 6.1 and made a site, recently I have opened one of the html files with wordpad and edit it. When I reopen the file with dreamweaver I cannot select with the mouse text in the code and some parts of the text looks like "hidden" but in the preview browser looks well.
Any help?

Is the page based on a template? if so then that might be uneditable in the template and needs to be changed.
