Dreamweaver image link help please

I have DW8 loaded on 2 machines, and have recently added an FTP server to insert images into pages that I'm working on, but when I added the FTP to the second PC, DW is setting the img src as a temporary file on the local PC, even though I've browsed sites and servers, and chosen the correct image from the remote ftp location. The first PC displays the correct image URL which is in the form of

http://www.mydomain.com/picture.jpg

The other PC is setting the URL as <img src="file:///C|/Documents and Settings/<username>/Application Data/Macromedia/Dreamweaver 8/Configuration/ServerConnections/<ftp name>/picture.jpg">

I've spent hours trying to find the setting or differences in the two, and have been unsucessful thus far, if someone can lead my in the right direction so I can get it to diplay the proper remote URL, I would be very grateful.

This is not an elegant solution as I don't know what is causing your problem!

Why not correct the HTML code on the second machine so that it points to the image on the remote server?

Although, it was much more time consuming, that's what I was doing until I found out what was causing it. I guess it's another little quirk of Dreamweaver, but if you view the file with the local disks and folder being shown as well, DW points to the correct remote location. If you just view the FTP and Sites list alone, it will use this temporary folder as the location of the remote file.

You need to have both pc's set up with the same site definitions.
