Dreamweaver Freezes when choosing the Assets Tab

Hi

I am using Mac OS X, 10.3.9 with Dreamweaver 8.

On one particular project, whenever I choose the Assets tab Dreamweaver freezes and I have to force quit the application.

Under OS 10.4, on another machine this all works fine on the same project.

Any ideas?

In fact now it is hanging when I start it up.

I have reinstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

there must be a courroup file in assets or your assets are shared you have no rights. browse to your files and then move them somewhere else and then redefine them. there probably is a non-standard file or some part of the file that craches the wysiwyg part of DW.
