I have just started using Dreamweaver MX and I dont know how to add cell padding just for the top or bottom of the cell......I can put cell padding for the whole cell but I have previously used Frontpage and you can specify individual padding for Top, Bottom, Left & Right.....Can this be done in MX?

Thanks

It can be done in HTML ;-)

Give up on using Dreamweaver of FrontPage... if you want something done right, you suually have to do it yourself.

I suggest you learn to hard-code your pages instead of relying on the software to figure it out for you. -gerrygerry

While technically gerry's reply is correct - you will learn more by handcoding in the long run.

It is also zero help for someone who just started with what is really a fine piece of software. Not to mention not a very encouraging post to someone who is trying to advance their knowledge in the best manner as they see fit with time and or finances.

in Dreamweaver the default is to set padding for all sides - you can however specify certain areas using the CSS "builder" within DW.
