Does anyone know what the best software is to use with DWMX for creating a Content Management System and using this to update and maintain a website?

Is it possible to set up a front end interface for a user so they can go log in to a secure web page, make changes to a web page, and then submit the changes and make them live?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
