DRDG - Distinctive Ringing 2

Pretty new to this, but I'm a fast learner.

Has anyone ever used the DRDA - Distinctive Ringing feature? Is it exclusive to internal DNs? What's the correct way to set this feature up?

yes you can apply distinctive ring to any inbound route, you can also redefine the ring cadance and cycle in load 56. drg1 in class just effects a single phone..

Say that I'd like DN 8888 to DR from 303-222-2222. Is that done in LD 20? What's the correct method to set that up?

You need to set up distinctive ring on the route which your incoming calls come in on. But I don't think you can specify a particular DN to get the distinctive ring. It sounds like you want calls from this particular telephone number to ring distinctively on one particular DN (8888) but I don't think that's possible...in the meantime, you add distinctive ring to the route in LD 16. DRNG - YES (if my memory is correct).
