I've used Corel Draw since version 2.0, (Now using version 12) but this has stumped me. I have a project to reproduce a city map and on this map are railroad tracks which look like a line of little crosses. Anyone have any idea how I can create a new line style to reproduce these.

Thanks, Craig

While I've not tried it, I've heard of people doing this task by creating the initial "symbol" or whatever you want to call it for a "cross" or two and then creating an artistic media brush out of it. Then you'd just draw a bezier curve for the railroad line and apply the artisic media brush to the curve.

Actually that was the solution I came up with in the end. However my first attempt to simply do one cross didn't give me the railway track effect I needed. I ended up with a string of crosses about 2 inchs long and about 1/16" tall. I followed the help direction on how to save this as an artistic symbol and was able to draw the line using the artistic brush and after adjsting the width control it look exactly the way I needed it.

Thanks for responding and for the suggestion.

Craig
