Hi,
I am trying to make my program draw something on the screen over all shown windows. (Like this program that when you press Ctrl, draws a circle around the mouse cursor. I am trying to do a similar thing!)

How can i draw something on the screen directly without having the window shown?

Thanks a lot in advance

I'm no expert but isn't it impossible???

I would choose to make a window which has no caption and no background color (i.e. invisible), do the writing and then shut the window again.

It's of no use to ask me HOW to make an invisible window, i don't know but i would find out if i needed it.

Keep making it perfect and it will end up broken.

This can be done as there are programs that do it.

You need to get the handle of either the screen or the desktop and use them as your canvas to draw on.

(I have not done this but i recall reading about how to do it, BCB Users Journal perhaps?)
