I have a gif picture that I've loaded into a picture control. I would now like to draw on top of this picture and then save the file with the additions and/or print it. Does anyone know if this is possible, and how to do it? Or should I be going about this in a completely different manner? Thanks!

You are going to run in to a bunch of trouble if you actually want to save it back as a GIF, since VB - although it is hapy to open a GIF - won't natively save a GIf. Part of the reason behind this is the fact that the GIF format is, perhaps surprisingly, propietry and therefore companies that provide the ability to save in the GIF format have to pay a licencing fee.

Is there a different way to save the file, such as a jpg or something?
