Drawing canvas on top of another Object

Hi...
Im using a capture device to capture video. I want to draw some vertical lines on top of that video for measurement purposes. When i use Timage wich is on top and draw some lines on it it does not work very well. The Timage is not transparent and white square is drawn to go on top of video. Video is not shown... Any idea how this should be properly done...?
