In my logon script (which runs from cscript, so in a 'DOS' box) I surround the 'Good Morning, John Doe' greeting with asterisks.
It looks OK but I'd quite like to surround it with a better looking box. I'm sure I can remember ASCII codes for box corners, sides and tops and bottoms but all I can find are codes for the pipe (|) and the underscore (_), and these don't look anything like as good:
See what I mean? It looks rubbish.
Am I going mad? Or am I just missing something?
