Drawing a Line/Multiline & Dimension dynamically in one..

Hi,

Does anyone know a LISP/VBA routine or any other way to draw a line/polyline or multiline and a dimension at the same time?

What I want to achieve is to be able to draw say a polyline as you normal would but it would draw aligned/linear dimensions along the length of each segment as I draw it..

I know that this may be impossible but I'm sure someone may know of a tool or routine that will do it! I'm rtying to do it myself but I don't know where to start..


Any ideas?
